Hitching Post This photo depicts a hitching ground during a 1905 association meeting of the Original Washington District  Assocition (before the split). The caption reads as follows, " A hitching ground at a Primitive Baptist Association, Buchanan Co. Va."  It is believed that the photo was taken near the Hale Creek Church.
